Old Days Activities

Levi E Clain,Q.C. 71 and His wife Denise Levesave a retired lawyer from America. Each spring they lived in Toronto, Canada and every winter they spent in Hawaii, USA. They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. After his retirement, the pair decided to have trip around the world, and first they went to Latin America. Early December 2007 they take holiday to Bali and will leave Bali in the middle of April 2008 right off to Santiago, Chile. They are happy with Balinese warmth greeting along with their sincere smile and its magnificent culture and great view. While they holidaying, they also introduce a mechanical milk cow. With a 4 kilogram of soya can be produced 30 liter of soya milk in an hour and the machine can be used 8 hours per day. The aim is that to provide undernourished children can drink soya milk with cheap price and high protein nourishment. Levi's quite healthy without any health trouble.

Honesty and Sincerity

Nekel Depari 65 years old, a farmer from Seberaya village—Karo Regency, visited her niece whose husband just passed away. Nekel’s husband was also died in 2000. She has 4 children; 3 sons and a daughter with 10 grandchildren. She manage orange plantation with 400 orange trees and she bequeathed 300 trees for her 3 sons and the left is for her daily expenses. Her house is lived by her youngest son and she taken residence with her oldest son. She is quite healthy and her health trouble was only cataract which already operated in 2004. Her wishes is good relationship between her family members, and all family members should love and serve each other with honest and sincerity to enlighten the burden's weigh.

Activities in the old age

Leo Asa, was sitting beside me in one table when I attended a seminar in Denpasar. He was born in Semarang on August 13, 1931 (76 yo), married a Toraja woman. He was retired from Pertamina in 1986 and lived in Nusa Dua, Bali. After his retirement, he had worked for Nurtanio in Bandung and in 2000 he started to farming capsicum (paprika). After the Bali Bombing in 2002, his capsicum marketing was affected and he could not continue his capsicum farming. Until now, he still invited by institutions as keynote speaker. His health is good and haven't the old age diseases (symptoms) and he tries to keep active and his brain works

Joint Humanity Project

Ron K 57 (left), along with his wife Kathy K and other 19 people of his group came to Bali to see the possibility to build a joint humanity project in Bali. Prior arrived in Bali, they visited Aceh, Jakarta, Jogyakarta dan Surabaya. In the 7 days of visit from 21 to 28 January 208. Through 25 January the group split into 4 and inspected the region that has possibility to joint humanity project. Ron K and his wife along with 2 others of the group visit the 3 km drinking water pipeline project in order to supply water to 908 family in Tajen village, Penebel, Tabanan. Furthermore,we informed that many villages in Bali still haven't the luxury to drink good water. By the way, Ron K and wife was very fit to visit the location.
