Remembering


Dr Arus Sembiring 70 (right),they had had worked together in a government's hospital. She had lived in Medan and has 5 children that all of them are university graduated and granted with 7 grandkids. All her brood and grandkids are living outside of Medan. Dr Arus Sembiring is a retired from Medan's Health Department Office. Her husband was a surgeon who was passed away in Jerusalem when they conducted a pilgrim journey to there. She takes her life as what life gives to her and now she is living with her maid and her chauffeur. Her daily activities are managing her clinic and exercise at home and sometimes she makes trip to visit her children and grandkids at Jakarta and Palembang. For health she suffered of herpes, but it was cured, but now has another disease that is Parkinson, even though mild level, still disrupt her comforts

Obligations


Made Tampa 71 lived in Mengui Gede, Gianyar regency has 6 children and 12 grandkids, and one of them is lived in Jakarta with his family. He likes to drink a coconut wine a bottle one day. He was a village leader for 25 years, he always went around his village and during his rounds he was always offered a glass of coffee 5 glasses. Recently he has his health deteriorated. He had operation to remove his stone bladder in 2000. his pulmonary illness is cured. What he has now are gout, high cholesterol level and diabetes and he has to diet and on medication. As former village leader, he holds an insurance card and gets free medication and doctor. His hopes are his children and grandchildren are healthy and able to support their parent. Currently he only able to consume porridge

To Lighten The Burden

Sem Tarigan 69, from Delitua, Deliserdang regency, North Sumatera . He came to Bali with his wife to visit his brother that assigned in Bali as Priest in Denpasar. He has 4 kids and seven grandkids, he work at his transportation company and his wife is a health office retirement.

In 2004, he had narrow coronary arteries in his heart, which forced him to have surgeon to place a ring in his artery. The surgery cost is has a half percent reduction because his wife was a health officer retired, then he had to have appendicitis operation and in the same year he had the first sign of prostate symptom and when he was USG-ed doctor found that in his bladder a bunch of stones. According to his doctor he had to have another operation, because those little stones cannot be shot. Because he just recovered from appendicitis surgery he delayed his bladder operation. To have second opinion, he went to Penang Malaysia . From the check-up, the shooting bladder stones can be done along with prostate operation.

And he sold one of his transportation vehicles to pay the operation and to minimize his routines the transportation company he handed over to his right hand.
