A Happy Trip

On September 2008, we're joined ten days tour to Turkey. Our groups was 25 people including the Tour Leader. One of elderly participants like us was Dr Hendro Haryono (68) has good sense of humor, retired from Manpower Department and his hobby after his retirement as photographer.

He was participated a photo exhibition held by Bank Indonesia and got the first winner. With his wife who is a Nnotary, Dr. Hendro joined the tour. They are having 2 kids and lived in Jakarta. He was an invalid as an accident result when educated in high school. His health is relatively good.

The tour trip city to city were conducted in 6-7 hours driving but enjoyable because the scenery is very beautiful with wide road and smooth adorned with olive and grape trees as far as eyesight. The trip was also enjoyable because Dr. Hendro always made jokes during the trip. Then we watched belly dancing Turkey's traditional dancing.

The local guide told us that the olive harvested with only shaking the tree and the ripe olive will fall. The most impressive building is a beautiful and big building that built in the fourth century which originally a Church and converted became a Mosque in fifteenth century and converted became a Museum in 1935.

Another interesting place is a Palace that change into a Museum that tell a story of history of ceramic, gold and diamond in many different shapes and another
